Atom Standard Listings vs. Sedo

I've only loaded a couple brandable names onto Atom platform, both being "standard." Wanting to see how this may go before doing more.

One has sat for many months without traffic ( both have categories, root, keywords, whatever needed completed).

Noticeably however there has been zero activity. When I search, they seem buried in the hoard of choices.

Is it worth it to even have a "standard" listing at Atom. OR is a "Premium" listing really needed in order to gain some amount interest? With their main "Boost" feature only applicable to Premium names.

Both have gotten daily interest at SEDO (of course, who knows whose finger-clickers belong to whom, other SEDO listers or potential Buyers?)

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

If not used, and you're not redirecting either via http, then the 'human' visitor stats are more reliable.
Which is the case.

As far as nameservers:
ns1/ns2.sedoparking.com

...the popular ones.

SedoMLS -- I've used. But also know that you can pay the extra % commission for no reason at all. Could likely be a waste of money. I know for sure one buyer who would have found a name at Sedo anyway. So I've been on the fence with this for my other names.

Offhand I'm not aware of specific lander#'s. I use different ones.

This is the explanation from Sedo:

There is no issue with inaccurate traffic stats for Sedo parked pages with ads. You may be referring to stats in relation to the Sedos Sales lander that we implemented last year which has been implemented as essentially a parking template. The sales lander takes all traffic that your domain receives (including bots) into account. Our Sales Lander may receive an increase in views compared to our traditional domain parking service due to this. Sedo and our advertising partners have strict criteria monetizing in parking only organic traffic. So the stats held on your parked domains with ads will be accurate.

Sedo traffic numbers aren't very accurate - they tend to count bot traffic.
Hi

on the contrary, ppc page stats at Sedo are accurate.

Imo…

I'm referring to just the for-sale pages.

Same here - the PPC needs to be valid because it's linked to clicks which is linked to payments, but the sale lander don't, so they aren't.

Hi

just wanted to make the point that there is a difference in how traffic is counted at sedo,
as Future Sensors posted above.

we don't want misconceptions to prevail without some clarification :)

question though:
regarding the 'just for sale" pages, have you considered using 'just ads' and having a "this name may be for sale" link on the pages?

imo....

Nope, I have no need to formally invite UDRPs to the party.
