AssetCo.com

Hello,

I found this one in a group of names I bought some time ago and thought it had little value because of the "co" added on the end. Now I have a couple of firms emailing me for info/asking price. Any thoughts on where to start? Thanks for your help!

Welcome to #1 Namepros, dilligaf.

Personally, I would sell it at the first opportunity. The "Co" suffix, to me, seems too unprofessional to command "retail" type $$'s.
Reg. fee - $35+ (wholesale), IMHO.
If you can get any more information on the potential inquirers, it may help you in formulating a firm "Asking price". Accept only was is comfortable with you ... since you've already held it for a good period of time.
Best of Luck.

I like it!

Contrary to the majority of opinions on the "Co"..
I find it professional... as in "company"....
just too name one: PetCo.. has done real well marketing the "Co"

Asset + Co = AssetCompany.. real nice!

$200

Goodluck.

Interesting...

Wide range of values. I'm wondering how I would word it in an offer to sell. Based on the comunications so far I think the interested parties represent a firm that has already developed another AssetCo.??? name/site. I would have a real hard time convincing my partner (my son) to start nagotiating from our end at $15.00. But then there's no real risk of being over priced either!:hehe:

Thanks again for your help!

Best of success with your negotiations. This name serves a "niche" specific industry..
End users would understand it's value..

I'de take no less then $150

Well, I chose to leave the ball in there court. They replied with an offer of $1000. I countered with $1500 and it was accepted. I guess value is really need specific.

Thanks again for all your input.

Good Deal!!! So you got quite a bit more money than any of the appraisals you got. Good negotiating. It's like i've been thinking, appraisals are good to have a realistic approach to selling your domain....but in the end it's what the domain is worth to the end-user that counts. Example.....Mp3Audiobooks.com
