While we're all nervously twidling our thumbs waiting for our .asia auction logins, does anyone know how the Golive phase will play out?

A couple of specific questions I have:

• if you apply for a name from March 26, will you immediately get it? Sounds obvious but at the same time given Landrush closed on the 12th of March I thought I'd have the domains that didn't go to auction in my account by now!
• which registrars are the smartest and will be able to process GoLive applications the fastest?

Interested in your thoughts on these questions and any other questions people might have about the GoLive phase.

That said, many of us will probably be busy licking our wounds from the Landrush phase to put too much energy into GoLive!

Well I got a confirmation email from Godaddy & Paypal for my order but the domains don't show up in "My Domains" in Godaddy?

i just spoke with eurodns on the phone and they said they're just busy processing orders, all will go through. Something about all registrars are getting delayed confirmations back etc..

Damn, Godaddy processed my 3 domains I first got but now they are going to reverse the charges as they are reserved words. At least Moniker & Dotster gave me an error when trying to register reserved words.

Mine is no longer listed as processing, it's missing, now I'm afraid it was taken in sunrise or landrush. This sucks.

To my pleasant surprise Moniker seems to be working fine in GoLive, very quick.

I've been trying for the last two hours to register domains at ResellerClub and I keep getting:

2306 : Parameter value policy error

I have some great names to, I hope I get them. I'm getting nervous over here. I never worried so much about a new extension.

Thought so. didn't realize that till now. Which means I regged about 5 names this morning for two years. Fantastic.

Got this message on some names. The problem is, they still charged me!:

Error: Add domain failed for xxxxx.ASIA: 2306:Parameter value policy error (xxxxx.asia is reserved for sunrise1 application)

We will evaluate this error and retry the registration
if appropriate.

If we are unable to successfully register the domain
name, your account will be credited accordingly. Please

I just found you can register at Dotster successfully at $16.99 a year. You need to enter coupon "bargaincat.com".

Thanks for this, Dotster was the best interface for bulk registrations and lookup. You go to their multi domain lookup and you can check 300 at a time and registration is fast and much easier than Moniker plus they will tell you if the domains have been reserved unlike Godaddy which took money out of my account and told me later so now I wait for them to place it back.
