A few days ago I created www.asciipicture.com and now need money.

It's a nice little website that is pretty self-explanatory.

This month there were 1700 unique visitors. Yesterday it earned $1.20 in adsense and today $0.80 so far.

I'm looking for around $200 for it.

Let the bidding start at $100 and BIN at $250

you say you started the site a few days ago, so then were has the 1700 come from?

I just told a few people about my website. Then I checked my webalizer and google stats, thinking I'll have almost none of each, and I was pleasently surprised :)

From the webalizer refferrer stats, it looks like most traffic is coming from blogs.

Questions:

1. How much bandwidth does the site use?

2. How long are the images stored for?

3. Is it a unique script? If not, which script is it, and is it free or paid?

4. If it's a paid script, how much did it cost?

5. Where is the domain registered?

Thanks :)

@skyraider,

1. So far 1800 MB of bandwidth were used.

2. None of the ascii art is stored - and thus very little webspace is used :) Right now only 2 megabytes. However, if someone creates an ascii picture, he will always be able to see it through the generated link, as long as the original image remains where it was. The link to the created ascii picture contains all the values necessary to draw that ascii picture from the original picture. So when someone follows a link to an ascii picture, that ascii picture is generated live.

3-4. It is a free script made by a German programmer.

5. Domain registered at Namecheap

@Scott,

Later today I'll brush up my SSH skills and will try to make the webalizer stats public, so you can look around and find anything you want.
