Cities are now "getting" the importance of having domain names. Could this be of concern for GEO name holders?

Can't trademark a city name, at least in the us and assume elsewhere. A park name? Well, let's just say owning disneyland.tv would probably not be a good idea. But a generic park?

Hmmmm, tricky one. I would think you would have to have a business stake in the park, or you might have a problem.

Aside from that, owning a geo is not a problem.

Yea, i think geo+ "generic" names have potential, and they are often recipients of some type-in traffic.
I love geos actually. I say that because i don't consciously prop up geos, or their discussions, but i just have several of them in my portfolio, so i must assume that i like them. Even the .info geos have potential.



This specific thread says ".tv" at top, but the domains we're discussing are .coms. lol. not a big deal i guess.
