Article Marketing...?

I have read mixed reviews on article marketing techniques. Some say to focus on a few directories, others say to use a robot and do a mass submittal.

Would love your thoughts!

First what you want to do is post the articles on your site or blog.. and then once they are indexed post them on ezinearticles and goarticles.com then a few days later submit your articles to all the other hundreds you can find... do this because there are people that will still find your articles and post them on their sites or blogs.. this will build your backlinks for your sites in the Bio box of your articles

you forgot to say that each time you post it make it unique, otherwise it could do more harm than good.

article marketing is not as effective as it has been in the past. mass submission easily triggers google's duplicate content filter nad after few articles, you dont get credit for the rest. best thing to do is to submit unique content to few top article directories, or if you want to do mass submission, then atleast spin the article to make it 30-40% unique which will produce better result

Write articles and submit them to newsletters which are then archived online, submit to article directories or Publish on your site and invite other sites to publish them on their sites, with a link to you.

articles are really good, but make sure that you are doing it at least 3 times a week, that brings in good traffic.

Hi lilblack. My advice don't ever use robots. They look like spam and you articles may not get approved anyway. My advice, use an article spinner like jetspinner etc and submit an unique version of articles to the directories. That way you will have more chance of getting approve.

I use articles submission, mainly for the purpose of getting backlinks, so I will submit the articles to most SEO friendly directories and NOT just by submitting a few.

Of course backlinking still works if your article got some viral element and submitting to a few directories. But seriously, for that to work well, the article itself may cost you a fortune!

Apart from Ezine I like goarticles, articledashboard etc. Rather than going for multiple article directories, I would like to stick with 1 or 2 article directories so as to avoid duplication.

I use this list of free article directory submission .

In general , I submit the same article to maximum 5 directories. Then I change the text , I rewrite the article, sometimes from scratch. Anyway, I am not using too many article directories, but the first 20-25 from the Top 100 I listed ahead.
