With some basic coding skills you can incorporate rss feeds into your sites, giving them a more professional look than using free article feeds which often contain some sort of advertising in the feed.

Go to http://www.rssfeedster.com to get rss links for whatever keyword(s) you want, then plug those links into your web pages through an xml parser like fetch.php, customize to your site layout and you're good to go.

Thanks! I followed your advice and for some reason I can't get feeds from yahoo and google to work, msn is fine. yahoo shows image and bullets but no text, google nada.

I have tried several rss parsers (lastrss, feed2html/rss2html, rsslib, simplepie) still nothing from google/yahoo. Even tried to modify some of the code, tested it on my desktop with WAMP with newest php version. Googled rss/xml reads lots. Spent all weekend tackling this. Most other feeds work like a champ. Are they blocking feeds to another website or is there some tweak that needs to be done?

Don't rely on rss feeds as your sole source of content! I'm currently helping two NP members who did just that (autoblogs) and had their domains dropped from google. Both are doing re-inclusion requests as a result.
