Personally, I still feel like 1 to 3-letter and 1 to 3-number .com domains are in the higher liquidity category. I actually wrote a little about identifying liquidity/illiquidity in the more current markets here: https://www.namepros.com/threads/so...han-any-other-registrar.1361289/#post-9446961

Even 1-off ccTLDs and newer gTLDs show some signs of demand in the ultra-short assets segment. Unfortunately. most (Not all) of those have cut out the middle-man/reseller with super high premium registration and renewals, effectively taking most (if not all) the meat off the bone for a decent ROI.

Yes, obviously.

But, whether it's an appealing investment opportunity depends on the quality and price.

Two- and three letter domains are valuable to investors because they're flexible, and so they have a lot of potential buyers.

gt.com could be used by a lot of different brands. Gateway Technologies, or Global Trust, or (as it is) Grant Thornton.

Whereas grantthornton.com can only be used by a company called Grant Thornton.

Hi, Branded Domain

Their value now hinges less on scarcity alone and more on liquidity cycles driven by corporate demand.

Hi guys.

If we are interested in acquiring two-letter (LL) or three-letter (LLL) .com domains,

what criteria should we evaluate besides the acronyms and

what price bracket is realistic for buying these assets?

Thank You

Same criteria as you see in the requirements for LLLL.com here.

The first letters are limited, and the final letter is even more limited.

6 figures +

(LLL.com with undesirable letters could be less, but why would you want those because they will be harder to sell on.)

A very liquid domain type. I expect domain demand to remain strong for these.
