domain Are these a hit... hitny.com

Recently registered a bunch of hit + geographical name.coms.

Please appraise & comment. What do you think I could/should get for them?

They could be regional portal type websites for big mostly us markets + a few foreign cities and continents. Such as hit + NewYork, Maine, Boston, SanFrancisco, colorado, tahoe, paris, london, caribbean, africa, australia, tokyo, yosemity.

Where "hit" can refer to both going/visiting but also clicking. They could be destination sites or also local insider's portal for local info and biz directories. Makes for great site sub-sections: hit the bars, hit the beach, hit the mountains, hit the museum...

Not quite sure what to do with them but I have them all parked waiting for buyers and or interest. I want to know if this board find this Hit category a hit...?

Don't shoot me for having them listed high at both sedo and my own page. Those are retail prices amd you can always come down but its hard to go up.

Hmm. I guess not the hit that I thought I had.

- Well in English (at least the American version) hit along with many other things means go. A slightly more hip/slang version. I think it's not far from good local domains as visit+City Go+city. For another thing its short, which make it easy to remember. Hit is the online equivalent of offline visit or go. It has great internet meaning. Its a good VERB but also a noun. + Hit is a positive thing as in a music or business/product success. I guess name pros don't see a value in them

I suspect anybody who have at some point had to face the challange of coming up with a good local portal type domain can appreciate these domains...(as I have faced the challenge twice in my two home cities of San Francisco and Columbus.)
