Ok, I want to add a subscription form to a Tumblr blog(could be alink to external page too). I goggled it and found a few and i choose..capaign manager.. then i realized that they charge once you want to email the subscribers.

Does anyone know how to get a free subscription system setup on a tumblr blog?

Thank you; i really appreciate the help.

I use "Listwire" on a site I own, and they don't charge you at all...However, the owner does email me, and I have heard that if you are subscribed to anything through listwire, already, and you unsubscribe, then you lose all data, and all subscribers, and it deletes your account. Signing up with them also automatically subscribes you on the owner's list...So if you don't mind getting spam from the owner, every now and again, then I would suggest it. It also takes them to a couple of pages to sign up for, that is unrelated to you, and related to the owner, to sign up for before they get back to your landing page...
I just had to clearly state on my site, that if they don't want their email shared, then to not sign up for anything until you get back to "my site's" page.
Hope this helps. I never tried mail chimp before, but am thinking about building out some of my domains, and might give them a try.. Just wondering what the downfalls for that one is...

They are a pretty good service. The first 12K emails to 2K subscribers a month are free.
