discuss Are BB/BP/BR etc., domain listing worth the hassle?

Most of us have tried them and listed a few domains too.

Although, we have some sales done via these platforms, but max domains get rejected for odd reasons like "we don't like the domain" or "Low demand - our research suggests this domain will be hard to sell".

Since max sales happen on Dropcatch/Namjet/GD/SEDO/Afternic/Uni/Outbound or landing pages, do you really think it's a good move to list your domains with them, pay for selected domains and keep it locked with them (you can't sell it anywhere else, if you do, you lose the listing on said platform)...???

We don’t know that max sales happen on those platforms.(Volume low priced domains likely— highest prices doubtful) It just appears that way because sales on those platforms are always reported and those platforms are pushed on us to use.They are most useful for selling to other domainers.

If your goal is end user the exposure on the brandables site is helpful. It can potentially get your name noticed more quickly. Could the buyer find your landing page too? Of course. I have sold 3 “rejected”names on my Efty pages all for XXXX. So if you believe in your name you should not take those rejections as Gospel.

As far as the brandables or any names rather have it on a marketplace or personal landing page with no spammy click ads on it. GoDaddy landers as an example promote GoDaddy and not your name. So for free you can have some ad filled pages that literally hide how to contact the owner to buy.(NameCheap comes to mind)

If presentation matters to you the brandable sites present names nicely. Lately I have been experimenting with Undeveloped and Brandpa so too soon to say about effectiveness. Have received one low ball offer on Afternic. My Efty pages are where I get the most contact and successful sales.
