Are all vowel LLL names best or not?

Just curious on looking at LLL names, if in general all vowels are a better investment than other combos that contain consonants.

I'm no expert... I only have one LLL and that's a .biz :(

But I think acronym potential is the most significant consideration in LLL domains, apart from 3-letter words, of course. Clearly cpu.com is better than uou.com.

Just my 2c

Let's assume for this discussion however, that the letters do not spell anything recognizable (i.e. law.com) , or stand for something (i.e. USA.com).

Using your uou.com as an example, would that or btd.com, be worth more, if you knew nothing of what organizations could use those acrnoyms, or what meaning they might have?

Off the top of my head, I think I'd be partial to consonants

I wonder if anyone has ever done a study on this. The average sales prices of:

vvv.com
ccc.com
vcc.com
cvc.com
ccv.com
vvc.com
cvv.com
vcv.com

Having done a lot of number crunching related to domains lately, my gut feeling is that you can probably not predict a value based on the vowel/consonant content of an LLL.com. What you can use to predict a value however is the frequency of a given LLL combo on the web. That alone is not sufficient, but it's one factor that does seem to influence the sales price, statistically speaking.

This is a discussion that occurs frequently regarding four letter .coms. There s a vocal group that believes that (after words and major acronyms) the value is in pronounceable combinations, particularly CVCV. I expect the equivalent would be CVC in three letters. While there is value in true pronounceables, I think there is also a lot of value in the better, more frequently used letters.

the question is: does this vowel make it pronounceable.
