Hi,
I have a dj***.com domain and I just found this dj exists( like 3) . The one with more content has about 15k followers on social media and has a .info site.
Should i contact him or just let him eventually contact me in the future? Is it risky since the domain is recent?
I don't know how common it is to ask if someone wants to buy me a domain.
Regards

Doing outbound sales requires some technical as well as domains sales experience in order to be successful and avoid problems.

If the term is not trademarked, there is nothing to prevent you from reaching out confidently. Who knows, with the right pitch, you might make a sale.

Last bit of info I can think of is that, by contacting them, you might end up selling the domain for less than you would if they had contacted you first. This is perhaps where the domain sales experience comes in. Perhaps plan your pricing in anticipation of that.

Best of luck
