I see this domain as a -$50,000 domain, it can only lead to a 50K lawsuit, I would get rid of the name, just my opinion though

lol 50k lawsuit , precisely...

Anyways , if were to just keep it low profile and earn the parking revenue wouldnt it be great :D

Its people like you who give us domainers a bad name, just because you think you can get away with it, doesnt make it right.

And if you read the rules, you can only ask for appraisals on names you own

so how exactly is window7.com a tm violation?

First of all, it is windows and not window. Second, if somebody has window7, but uses it for something else (e.g., you produce plastic windows), I don't see any problem.

"confusingly similar" - absolutely, 100% so if they're using it to generate revenue off Windows 7 related products. Using it for a legitimate purpose unrelated to Microsoft (like, house windows, or whatever) would probably make it very difficult for them to shaft you over it, but park it with a ton of Microsoft related keywords, I'd be more than happy to bet on the outcome of that.

its people like you who look down on newbie domainers with low post count , making the forum so unpleasant, kicking a big fuss over some minor feedbacks & suggestion.

Yes indeed thx for ur reminder, "appraisal for your own domain only" thx for your valuable information .

Moderator pls close this thread.

Just a few things to think about.
The forum is a valuable resource and if you want to become a domainer, you should learn some respect.
No.1 For the rules of the forum
No.2 For seasoned professionals who offer you good advice.
No.3 For other peoples intellectual property.

Good luck and happy learning.

Yep, I agree,

kSharp2K, just giving advice, dont take it too personally, just be careful with TM names, thats all

Check what ads are put up if you park TM names

Well it's not fair, consider.

When everybody just Nanny on him on how the "domain will lead to a lawsuite" -

But it's okay? Let us all do the Nanny dance.

Allrright?

No reason at all to direspect him.
It was pointed out ONES.
To repeat the same thing over and over
again, that is embarrasing low. And, Disrespectful.

I bet he isn't using a wheelchair.
And have a defection on his eyes.

The guy can read, so just leave him alone. No reasons
to look stupid and point the same thing over again and
again. That's for loosers do.

Leave this to Microsoft, I am all for morality and ethics. But it gets tiresome to hear it.
Again & again. AS it's just some opinion damn opionon, and no lawsuit.

Just get Bill Gates on the telephone, and get facts from the big mouth.

With your reasoning the forum would become full of spam in no time at all and therefore useless.

I think it should be mandatory for people who want an appraisal to read this first, before even attempting to post a name or name/s. Cybersquatting - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Maybe also make it mandatory to do a spell check, it might even prevent people from being called "loosers"! :bingo:
