Thats what it's gonna be called? If so then there may be some laws against registering that domain but if there isn't then that was a good buy.

If thats not illegal and really the new OS of Microsoft then possibally as high as 5 figure price.

If ppl were talking about it, that's because someone found out microsoft was working on it and if micro$oft was working on it, be sure that there's a trademark on it.

longhorn is just the codename.

Whistler was the codename for Win XP, Cairo was Win 2000, Memphis was Win 98, Chicago was Win 95, Janus was Win 3.1, etc, etc.

the product undoubtedly won't be named longhorn when it is finally released in a couple of years.
