Appraisals

Where could I go to get a "starting point" appraisal that is considered acceptable among domainers. Prefer free.

I have posted on here a few days ago but with no response. How long does it normally take? I would like to get an idea to be able to start to market a few of the domains I currently have. No rush, just inquiring.

It's completely up to the community to do the appraisals, and its subjective.

I suggest you try www.estibot.com, but any appraisal, robot or human, should be taken with a pinch of salt. notlikeyou is right, you could also try out the Appraisals Section on NamePros (for brutal honesty).

"Valuate" uses the estibot engine but allows 5 free appraisals a day ( I think) SwiftAppraisal (sedo)allows you to tweak your parameters on the appraisal. This is kind of interesting.

I heard about MiCROappraisals but you have to wear a "cup"....
