Thank you. I've paid 1xx for it. I think it will worth a lot more if I were to develop a site on it. It would be something good for a forum or resource site for WII.

I can tell you that "Wii" is trademarked by Nintendo. That might not bode well for your domain. It depends on how aggressively they protect their trademark. I'm guessing they are on the aggressive side.

I dont think WiiGuide would be a Trademark Issue, if your site is as the title suggests is a 'Guide' to the games on Nintendo Wii. Such a site only serves to promote Nintendo and the Wii Console.

The Term 'Guide' is also a generic word which cannot be trademarked.

Could you imagine if Microsoft decided to shutdown every site that uses the term 'xbox', they would basically be throwing billions of dollars away in sales and free promotion.

However it can become an issue if you decided to build site defaming the Nintendo Wii.

I see. I'm not versed in TM laws (just common sense stuff), so I tend to err on the side of safety. It sounds like a world of hurt if they really want to bust you!
