I am a newb to this site, curious what people think about my latest acquisition: TransferLargeFiles.com

Almost 10 year old domain. Roughly 150k monthly broad searches. Medium CPC market.

TransferFiles - yes, 3 words and specific word like large is too much for me.
The component "old domain" is overestimated when it doesn't come with a strong generic name.
Reg. fee or 0$ unless you got lucky.

The domain name is quite a long word. Maybe is some end user really needs such a domain you might be able to get mid XXX to mid XXXX or you need to develop the domain with some file sharing software and generate a good amount of members / hits to get value from the domain. Other than that a low XX to XXX figure

And how much exact searches?

I'm not seeing much value, but it depends on end user, try finding end users who are involved in file sharing, transferring..

I'd expect at least a few hundred dollars from an end user, over $1000 if you're lucky.
3600 exact searches (forget about broad searches, they are meaningless), and a nice CPC (about $6 is what I'm seeing). BigFileTransfer.com sold on Sedo in 2011 for $1500.

Many extensions are taken, and it's an established business.

I don't see any problem with the length at all in this price range. It's a concise term, and there are no superfluous words. A little age is a slight plus factor as well.

If you don't get a buyer, you might try setting up a website as an affiliate for a file sharing service. You'll make a little money, and it's easier to sell a name that's ranking.
