1. Acquisition Reason: To resell
2. Markets: Businesses that build custom computers
3. Research: No research really. The name is very generic and can be applied to various different businesses. My plan is to contact various businesses and ask if they are interested in buying.
4. Reseller Value: Estibot valued this name at $1100. I feel like it could be valued around $1500-$2000 but I need professional opinions. I may be under-valuing it or over-valuing it.
5. Age: 7 years

Since you asked ... the topic itself, i.e. build PCs, is very popular. One of the biggest UK internet forums is owned by a store that sells PC parts. However, re domain name, I think you will find it hard to sell because it is not suited for branding in this marketplace. The reason is it is generic and in this case I don't think the marketplace will support a big budget for attempting to brand on the generic. In some markets, e.g. cars.com, that could be done, but here I don't think it will work. The reason is all the companies will be content with their own specialist brands and the generic buildpcs does not offer enough of a business advantage to spend big money.

Good luck anyway.

You're right. I also think the name is too generic to build a brand with. I was going to offer the domain as a re-direct domain. So that if a customer types it in, it would redirect to a custom computer building website like PCPartPicker or CyberPowerPC etc

I really like it - build a site and point to vendors that deliver the neccessary parts - start your own projects and document them with links... Lots of possibilities!

LOVE IT!

I feel like the trend of building your own computer is making a comeback.

Ask at least $2k. (I probably ask double or triple that if I got an inquiry.)
