At least $500 bucks? That's pretty bad.. it's not even up to the estibot valuation

Rule #1 of domaining: Never use Estibot to appraise your names, its not worth anything!!

This name wont sell for $4500 on here, it wont even sell for $50, just remember this name was available to register for less than $100 only 10 days ago, if someone wanted it, they would have registered it.

are you kidding me?

You're stuck selling it for $2 unless you:

A) Get a higher bid

B) Dont care about your NP account.

Good Luck with the sale.

The rules state you can't run an auction here and also another venue but doesn't clarify buy now/make offer listings. Perhaps @Eric Lyon could clear this up. I think it's a bad idea regardless because what happens if it sells on Flippa and now the winning bidder here gets screwed.
Auctions must be exclusive to Namepros. Regardless, the NamePros auction must be honored and the domain must be sold to the highest bidder here on NamePros. Failure to honor a binding sales agreement can result in a bad business infraction that could limit an accounts access to NamePros.

Hope that helps,

Let's say i list an auction here for a domain then make several listings at other marketplaces like Godaddy,Sedo, Brandbucket with a buy it now price. Is this against the NamePros auction rules or just multiple auctions? Thanks Eric!

The rule in question is specific to auction listings. However, regardless what type of sales listing you create on NamePros, as soon as there is a binding agreement to sell/buy, it must be honored on NamePros.

@Joseph Omale I implore you to honour the final auction price you get here. I'm quite new to this industry myself, and believe me... your membership at NamePros is much more valuable than whatever you might get from this domain name on an aftermarket site, or from an end user (which is not likely to be much).

Don't burn that bridge. Just do a lot of reading here and ask a lot of questions before you buy your next name.

I do not understand the name at all. Reg fee, in my opinion.
  • Do not mistake an automated domain appraisal for the actual value.

Yes, you should sell at the final bid, however low it might be. Not only is it the right thing to do - nobody will ever do business with you if you don't honor bids.

Also, the whole point of an auction is that the highest bid wins, guaranteed. Perhaps next time you might want to open a "make offer" thread.

Because its the rules, you need the read the rules before running auctions

First of, I'm not making excuses for the overall situation; However, I do recognized that you is a newly member to understand everything about the policy and procedure at NP. Second, NP. is not an end user pricing; and you will not get the price you desire. Third, whatever the result of this auction just go with it; just considered this as a loss or a present. Lastly, considered this situation as a positive result; doing this you will be more happier internally and make more positive decision in your overall business approach. You did the best you can; and this is a good sign.
