Maybe you could develop this site to review detective or mystery movies/shows.

I think the portfolio is VERY speculative IMO.

You need to remember when registering domains like weddingsource.tv, the reasons why anyone would pay you $xxx or $xxxx for this domain specifically rather than registering some slight variation themselves for reg fee. Might work for the big 3 TLD, but .tv is still speculative for alot of single word generics never mind two word niche areas.

good point... thanks for the opinions. If you're not looking for highly searched keywords when you buy, what are you looking for in the TV arena? I understand the value of CityState.tv but I'm not real clear on why something as general as biology.tv would have value. What is your strategy for anyone who cares to share it.

My strategy is stick to dot com. I've registered a .mobi, a.info and a couple of .us. They are all 1 word. And they all sold for less than 10, except the .mobi I had it cancelled and money refunded. Looks like there's alot to learn when it comes to other extensions. For now, to be safe, I'm sticking to dot com.

My strategy is stick to dot com.

I really like the tv extension and the availability of domains in tv. Just wonder if the end users like it as much. If they do, I don't see how highly searched for keyword terms can go wrong. For instance, accomodations.tv is a misspelling of accomodations, but has 89497 overture searches for the misspelled version and tons of accomodation listings on sedo. Travel discounts gets a lot of searches as well as anything to do with weddings.
