Let me clarify for those who think LSTUR is random letters.


LSTUR = Long- and Short-term User Representation


It is NOT my acronym. It is a neural news recommendation model developed by Microsoft Research and is a core component of the MIND (Microsoft News Dataset) benchmark, one of the most cited AI recommendation benchmarks in the world.


It has a news encoder + user encoder architecture that models both permanent user interests and immediate intent. The paper has been cited in hundreds of subsequent papers and has 3 active open-source implementations including Co-NAML-LSTUR.


Why lstur.com and not sltur.com?


For the same reason bert.com is worth millions and ebrt.com is worth $0.


BERT is an exact model name. LSTUR is an exact model name.


sltur.com, lssur.com, ltsur.com are anagrams. They are not the model. They have zero search intent, zero GitHub stars, zero papers.


When a founder builds the commercial version of LSTUR, he will not name it SLTUR. He will search LSTUR.com. Exact match is everything in AI branding.

I have to admit, I was going to pay a designer $500 to make a banner for LSTUR.com - you saved me the money. The red marker, the green grass, the little sun in the corner... this is pure Van Gogh energy. Picasso is shaking.

I love how you spent 20 minutes drawing my domain to prove it's worthless. If it's really worthless, why are you advertising it for free?

But bots don't buy domains. Companies do.
