Alternatively, you could rely on user-created content and seek specific types of content from various users. I would love to partner with you with respect to automotive content. One of my sites, HSPN dot tv, offers How-To install videos. While the site is still in what I call its beta 2.0 phase, I have learned a tremendous amount about developing premium content. Rarely do user generated videos deliver the information in a clear, concise manner while still being entertaining. Keep in mind, the big $$$ sponsors are likely to throw their money at you once you have a library of How-To videos featuring their products or products they sell, which attract potential buyers. You might also want to consider reviews after the site is established and has credibility with your audience.
