Please what's the valuation appraisal for this domain I bought:

Bostoncoindealer.com

Dallaspoolcontractors.com

Is it a good Geo+KW or just a usual newbie crab.

Thanks

BostonCoinDealer = ok
USCoinDealer = better

Try not to limit yourself to one city unless the domain is extraordinary because to severely limit your possibility of a sale.

PS. I was going to say...

MassachusettsCoinDealer = better
USCoinDealer = best

but we all know why I did not do that :xf.laugh:

Thank you for your response.

Why wouldn't you do that?

How best do one get a "best domain" from expireddomin.net" lots of craps there... Thousand

Also... if you're going to buy a geo name with two keywords, make sure the words belong together as one common term that cannot be replaced by other words. For example: BostonFamilyLawyer

Someone interested in BostonCoinDealer could just as easily hand register the following:

BostonCoinShop
BostonCoinStore
BostonCoinPro
BostonCoinDeals

Lots of patience! You need to be very selective, particularly if you're perusing the deleted names.

Generally speaking, the more you're willing to spend on a name (i.e. at auction or via private sale), the better it will be.

It's usually best to avoid hand regging names when you're starting out, as it takes experience to identify the types of names you'll have a better chance of selling.

Often skilled hand regging is also best paired with a really solid outbound selling strategy. Either that or you should know how to identify good brandable names that you're comfortable sitting on for a long time (and this strategy is often a numbers game, since you'll typically only sell 2% or 3% of your inventory per year if you know what you're doing).

Keep reading and learning, though, and try not to do too much buying until you get a better handle on what sells.

Ideally, you should be able to tell us why it's a good name. :)

I agree that "Transport" is good as a keyword, but I'm not sure that it pairs well with "Lift". Google the term and you'll see that no companies are branding themselves with it, and it isn't an exact match for a specific product or service.

That isn't to say that you couldn't sell it for a modest profit, but I don't see a lot of value here.

In addition: don't use automated appraisals from GoDaddy, Estibot, or anyone else as justification for buying a name. Brandability, real-world usage, and common sense are all much more important indicators of value.

Well said, exactly my thought. Did a quick research and I noticed it's not a branded phrase used by companies, the lift didn't let the transport match well.

Thanks for the advice that common sense, word usage & competitiveness counts more than this software generated appraisal.

Thank you
