I just registered Appleprocessor.com/ Appleprocessors.com on a whim. Main reason is because of the Intel chips they will be using soon, and feel like this will draw alot of attention to Apple in the next few years. I know Apple is trademarked but they don't manufacture chips so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I wasted my money by registering these two domains. I did do a trademark search and could not find one for Apple Processor.

rh, for a TM issue there need not be an exact match. If your use of "Apple" is referring to Apple Computers, that's a TM violation right there (assuming you don't have their permission.)

My opinion is for the intent of using it in the computer industry, you are probably on dangerous ground. If you are talking about processing apples into applesauce or apple juice, you may be okay. However, I don't see much of a market for that domain name, and probably a dispute case arbitrator wouldn't buy it either, unless you had ties to the industry or developed it that way NOW.

BTW, posting your original thoughts here on the internet in a very searchable manner would probably kill any alternate uses you suggest in the event of a dispute. Future discretion in wording your question on similar issues might be safer, or limiting the details to private PM's.
