I'm having some trouble installing apache 2.2.4 on my computer. I followed several tutorials on this subject, including ones from this forum and every time something comes up that I can't seem to figure out. Most recently, I installed it following the instructions on how to install 2.x.x from this forum. Everything went fine, then when I went to run it, I got an error message. It said it could not load the actions module and said it was because the file could not be found. I went and looked at httpd and it says "LoadModule actions_module modules/mod_actions.so" everything looked good there, so i went to see if the mod was actually in the modules folder and named correctly and it was. So....what's the deal? thanks.

Probably your path. It can't find the modules at runtime for some reason. Make sure your ServerRoot is set correctly. This is different from the DocumentRoot.

Yes it could be the path or an extension that is not present but that you may not need. You can edit your httpd.conf file, locate the extension and comment out the line which reads 'LoadModule [ext]'

Actually, why don't you just post your ServerRoot, DocumentRoot, and Modules sections from the httpd.conf so we can all take a look at it?
