Hey,
I'm in Chicago area.
There is something huge taking place, here.
There is a huge test market of Digital TV Cel Phones taking place here.
It looks pretty incredible.
No analog staticy signal.
So, it looks awesome.
I was pretty excited and just went on a registering kick.
I got a whole bunch of names, and am curious if you think
it was a good move...great...maybe just a waste of time and $$$?
Not sure, but most everyone in this forum has alot of great insight.
So, please give an appraisal, or a comment of what you think about this market at all.

I know that an Estibot appraisal is annoying but there are too many domains to think about. I was thinking along the lines of Reg Fee for most - few are .coms and some of the .coms have cell spelt with one l.

I have not only seen the signal ,but here in Australia 3G or NextG (trademarks) for WCDMA or Digital Cellphones now has almost 100% coverage (We have had them for years)
And frankly once the novelty of watching "Crap TV" on a 2.4" LCD Screen wears off ,No one cares much about the TV and Video watching capability.

Well, I'm in the Chicago area, and we are the first USA test market.
So, if it does take off, here in the US, I'm just hopeful,
that I can capitalize off of the hype!
Just imagine....huge hype over another wireless toy!
Maybe, just maybe someone would like to buy ALL of my domains and link them to their main site.
Yes, I agree with you, it will get old, after a while.

Hey, it's definitely a good idea to be on the lookout for emerging technology & markets, but I would personally hesitate to go on a regging spree..

Just get a few good dotcoms for speculation...and maybe, just maybe some extremely good org, info, net if they are really very good. Like DigitalTVPhone/s.info, or DigitalTVPhone/s.net....

It's easy to get regging fever. Just fight it
These days I research on an average 200,000 - 300,000 available domain names for each one I actually register (using a program of course). When I first started I regged lots of terrible ones, we've all done that.

I myself have been on a registering kick like gambling on domain names. I think there is a windup effect like those people that can't stop gambling.

that said when I looked thru the list a couple looked (opionon only) better than the rest as I'd remember them more. Keep in mind that I'm failing to make money with 350 domains.
