Maybe in the wrong forum here, if so feel free to move me Mods :)

Anyone using Amazon aStore, Chitika or Zlio etc for your domain name(s) and your experience on the earnings compared to "traditional" domain parking?

Cheers and thanks for looking!

I am using one with a no earning domain, few type-ins etc. Traffic increased a little and earning came from none to very little. Maybe will increase in future because I heard some people earning well. But be careful, many people also saying that Google is banning Amazon stores.

I redirect traffic from one of my domains to Ebay's affiliate program and make at least 2x more than when they were parked. I set up another domain as a site (via a script) promoting Ebay and that also makes more.

Using Amazon A Shops

I am using an amazon "a store" for a site I previously had with parked.com. I am making 3X what I made with Parked.com. At first, I used a basic amazon "a store" and had my domain redirect. Now I have set up the a store as an embedded frame within my domain. It makes it look more professional and keeps the domain name in the browser. I have added some custom content as well. We'll have to see if it performs much better than the a store redirect.

The only problem is Amazon does not pay you until a month later! :'(

I created an amazon "a store" to sell batteries. So far, i've had zero sucess sending ad words traffic to the store and trying to turn that into amazon affiliate sales. Part of it could be my layout, but i would think i would get some sales given the level of traffic i'm sending to the site.

Ttan, if you'd like to share your site i'd love to take a look to see what i'm doing wrong w/ mine. My site is: BatteriesLife dot com.

I love astore I have really made excellent money I use them for shop.uk.com; health.uk.com; beauty.uk.com; buy.uk.com and dvd.uk.com. Each one really pulls in cash compared to when they were ppc sites. Shop.uk.com did over £4,500 ($9,000) last week. So I really recommend them. Easy to set up and beats rubbish ppc. :bingo:

That is beautiful. Hard to believe you own all of those.

Way to go! :D

I have had success with the BANS (Build a Niche Site), doing about double what I was in parking. I have not tried these other options yet, but I suppose I should to be able to compare apples to apples.

It just goes to show that parking is not the only choice.

I've never had much luck with Amazon stores or Zilo - but then I'm putting them on entertainment based sites pushing the same books and movies that everyone else is selling.

That's extremely impressive, almost unbelievable, even if true. But, you own some very good names there I guess. But still...

Is that $9K net commission? You must have done $126,000 or so in sales to Amazon last week alone, to generate that amount of commission at a high commission rate of 7%. Normal publishers only get a 4% cut.....

Unless I'm wrong.

I've integrated an amazon "a store" into animevideos.net about a month ago. The site doesn't get any real quantity of traffic yet so I can't say if it will make money or not, but it doesn't look real promising. $0 so far. I do get a few cents a day out of adsense, but nobody ever follows through to the amazon stuff. I've had similarly poor results with amazon widgets on my other sites. As I said though I'm not knocking down any barriers in the traffic dept. If you get tons of visitors it might be different.
