Unstoppable Domains โ€” Expired Auctions

Anyone used Namejet.com yet?

I realise this is a domain purchasing thread, but most of my better performing parked domains have been bought on the aftermarket. Not quite sure where else to post this.

I have usually bought on TDNAM or Snapnames, but as from Oct 27th all expiring Netsol names will go through Namejet. Has anyone here used Namejet to purchase names? I find their interface very rough, with a poor search feature. You can't filter out hyphens or numbers, or specify character length, among other problems.

Any experience yet with Namejet from NPers?

Thanks

I was notified by namejet that I won a domain there. I had nearly forgot about it :bah:
I agree their site leaves to desire, growing pains maybe. There are things I don't like, such as showing the number of bids and top amount on domains.
I check the netsol lists every day and usually there is always at least one good domain. With namejet decent names are very rare, hence my feeling the lists are creamed off and we're left with the crumbs... more domains than netsol alone but low quality. I'm really wondering if it's not the beginning of the end for the expired names

I bid on 4 names over a 2 week period and won them all for min bid. I'm no sure what that means. Either my choice of names were lousy or they are capturing names and there isn't much competition there yet :)

eNom's owners have a direct conflict of interest with other domainers. They have a history of using that to their advantage. I'm sure there will be premium names which never make it to auction.

Most names there are lousy at the moment. Look familiar to those which used to be at Club Drop. Maybe that will change when they get all the NetSol names.

Creaming off names..

I agree it certainly looks like less and less good stuff is actually getting to auction. Since Snapnames still has Netsol names until Oct 27th, I put in a bid on a good Netsol name there last week. Yet again, Snappy didn't seem to be able to acquire the name, so I checked the Whois. The day before the supposed drop date, the domain has been registered by an outfit called NS Holdings. Not the first time I've seen this. Sounds like Netsol is keeping quite a bit of good stuff back for themselves...

Iv'e won one & lost one so far - I find the search facility not very good, they need something "at least" as good as snapnames has. only 3 options for domain length is a poor choice IMO

There also seems to be a time lag where the name just dissapears and you don't know if their is going to be an auction or not - nothing shows anywhere in your control panel. The first time I noticed this I though, oh well - looks like another company got it. It was'nt until the next day I realised that the auction had started.

I think that they may end up getting less for their names because you can't see who the other bidders are.

Anyway, Lets hope they don't swipe off all the good names as mentioned above - that would really suck big time !

JMO :)
