Anyone use Stormpay?

Anyone here use Stormpay? Not sure if anyone posted this, but there was a thread talking about 12DailyPro and a bunch of auto surfs. Everyone said that 12DP would close down and take your money. Well recently, SP seems to have frozen accounts and run away with peoples money, rumor has it that they froze about $400 million from 12DP's account alone. They are randomly taking money from member bank accounts and randomly charging peoples credit cards.

The problem seems to have started when 12DP tried to withdraw money to put into EMOCorp, the other payment processor they use. It seems a lot of people think SP doesnt have the money to pay, many other SP members have requested money and SP isnt giving it to them.

Hm... Didn't stormpay also go offline and suspend over $12 million because of DDoS attacks?

The one and only time I ever used StormPay was to purchase something for $97 on their auction site using my Paypal card as the backup. Two weeks later, my Paypal account showed a duplicate debit of $97.. StormPay charged me twice for the same item. I immediately contacted their support and spent the next 10 days getting the run-around. They insisted it was a bank processing error and was in the process of being refunded.

I finally contacted Paypal and informed them of the problem.. they had me mail in some forms and refunded the money.

StormPay never did rectify the situation on their own.. I'll never deal with them or through them again.

I'd always been wary of using them.. and apparently with good reason!

StormPay is terrible. They've been forsing some sites to stop using other payment processors.

before i used stormpay for about a year and i was just enjoying it. i used them basically to charge international customers for webhosting then all of it changed when patriotic act banned Philippines users from their site and guess what i lost 145bucks from them i got suspended for reason that im living in the Philippines. never got a reply from them since about the money.

funny thing is patriotic act was lifted up against Philippines and stormpay starts showing up on my fellow webmaster's here as well and when i tried to login using my same email address of course, it said banned/suspended and i tried another one using gmail and it was approved after 3 hours it says banned/suspended grrr well emailed them a lot of times all in caps no success. i guess they're money stealers

Yeah, I got an email from PayDotCom the other day warning all their affiliates to choose between Paypal or StormPay, but the reiterated that StormPay's new TOS states you must use them alone and not in conjunction with any other payment processor. Frankly, they're committing "suicide" with that statement.. they'll lose a host of users.

Well, I have account with stormpay, but I have never used it Guess I am just lucky

Yea, SP's site has been down for quite some time all of a sudden
