Anyone Tried 000webhosts?

I had been trying a lot of free webhosts to compared the so- called better than paid hosting services. I almost gave up untill I came in contact with ooowebhosts. In fact their features as was listed was great but I never received their confirmation email address. I read the faq and it encouraged me to check my bulk mail or anything like blockage or spam. ok I sign up for a lot of email services and sign up with each of them which is not against the rules of the hosting services. But upstill I never received a confirmation email address not even a single one for any of my email services.
I am just confused and thought if any of you have probabily tried them and received the confirmation email please let me know.

try freehostia.com which i used and its ok for freebies like us

Freehostia does not support php mail() function. Except this, everything is fine. Using Freehostia since a long time and haven't had any problem. In fact, it is the best I have see in free hosting providers.

im in 000webhost.com and sometime have look that they have disable some function. But now like set_time_limit() but not, mail() function
I need the one the one that could give me a free host that allowed high resource . Anyone knows ?

They mean that with a free hosting, you are likely to be suspended quicker than a normal paid shared hosting account if you use a lot of ram/cpu or other resource.

Lots of folks over at FreeWHT have gotten the confirmation email. Some have been happy with the service, and some have not. I know they recently fixed the signup process, so maybe if you try again it will send you the confirmation email.

I think that all depend on your needs you are coming to the service (free web hosting) with. Personal page - nothing to worry about, but not satic web site with DB - worth to think twice.

how exactly does 000webhosts make money / why does it exist? from what i can tell they don't have a paid service flanking what their free one.

Try it. I think is realy good!

I also tryed. I think this hosting is great. No ADS AND POSTING. It works very fast. Many promissed a huge space they are very slow. Others prommised a big even 300GB brandwidth but they are very slow and you have to wait minutes to open the site.

www.000webhosts.co.cc is very fast. Brandwidth it is more than enough. And realy works. It is fast even if you are using Deal-up,

Believe I tryed many and this i think is the best.

I received their registration e-mail. ven when I used them in December they wants cell (GSM) nember and i received from them reg.number.

If you are trying them now they send registration e-mail but you don't need it. You have to wait 2-3minutes to receive details from them /in the same window/. Registration is slower but I think this is for security reasons.

I don't know how they make money - but they are in Washington...
