Anyone Speak Portuguese? Bit of help needed

Well,

I was doing some domain drops today and well I came across a name that has some tremendous search volume but is not my native language "english" and I wanted to ask someone who speaks portuguese what this word truly means:

RECEITA

Now my research revealed it can mean quite a few things but pinpointing it was a bit hard. So can someone explain a bit more on how it's determined what meaning this word has etc?

Let me know as I would be very grateful...btw the domain was already registered but a bit more information would be great!

Hi, Blake. I speak Portuguese (my dad's from Recife). It has several different meanings - including recipe, income, revenue, and receipt. I did a search in Google.com.br, much as you probably did, and it comes up on government websites as well as culinary websites. The spelling doesn't differ so it appears that the meaning is derived solely from the context (it's one of those words that can mean several different things).
