Hey people I need something that can be achieved preferably by html and if not possible by html then by PHP.
Please help me if you can.
I need to know how to do the following.

Note : the extension .html is optional. It may be .php too


I'll be having webpage http://mysite.com/index.html
Where i'll be having sections.
Like say News, Article One, Article two etc....

I'll be having http://mysite.com/admin.html

where i can login (I can work out the password protecting).
There will be some text boxes there.
News, Article One, Article Two etc . . .
The content i enter there show up on http://mysite.com/index.html in their respective places.

This is much similair to the html boxes used in Cerberus, Helios, Themis and other themes. So i am sure Bloc can help me out with this.

This comment seems to infer that you probably don't know a whole lot but aren't completely (100%) clueless but I prefer to ask just in case.

I ask because you said "I need to know how to do the following.". In order for someone to orient you they would first need to know what you know and don't know about the subject.

Sounds like a basic CMS you are looking for. Have you checked out Joomla/Drupal/etc.?

I know you're looking for html, but I don't know if you have considered these. Many people use them, love them, and have great success with them.

It seems that you need a simple admin page to manage the content of a web page. First of all you need to decide will you go with database or just a text file. And certainly you will need more than an HTML to do what you want.

I'm not new to Web Programming. I know this cud be achived in php. I asked if it was possible in html.
Never mind anyway. I learnt that and i'm now making a CMS. Anyone who want to join the Dev Team are welcome

Ok good luck with your cms. I am working on one myself but it is more for learning and experise since it's for a layout I have no use for. It's in ASP though, for compatibilty with my host.
