Just bought a domain at yahoo for 2.99

I am just trying to figure out how to push/transfer. There little domain manager doesn't really have much on info.

Is it easy to do?

Seems it is difficult to transfer a name from yahoo to other registrar! Also there is no free push!

i did buy a domain on yahoo
was easy, control panel too.
after few months i got a free host service, so now i manage my domain in my free host service.
all is ok, i could change dns very easy and fast in yahoo doamin control panel.
i thought about how to change registration on yahoo, so i asked, im waitting a logical replay.

few day ago i did buy a domain at netfirms, in control panel exist an option to change registrant information, yahoo hasnt this option.

yahoo doamin control panel is easy, forward option is available and fast.
i have problems with url forward in netfirms.

i know yahoo domain is very cheap, i think is a good choice.

also i saw(i cant remeber where>) that yahoo doamin adn yahoo account are one, so if u wanna transfer your domain, u will have to transfer ur yahoo account

Never had any experience with Yahoo, i've heard they're pretty awful when it comes to being a registrar. But that price is very cheap!

Yahoo is good if you register domain for your own purpose. If you are going to try to resell the domain after then dont select Yahoo.

yahoo is NOT good for holding a domain because it is murder to switch to another service at a later date.

I don't understand why Yahoo does not try to fix all the problems...

Yahoo wants to make money hosting, not transferring away names.
