Anyone else’s domain stuck in Afternic pending review limbo?

Recently, I removed the BIN option on some of my domains so they would only appear as make offer on Afteric, upon during this I see they’re all listed as pending review in my portfolio summery.

Does anyone know what’s going on here? I tried to message Aftrnic directly but it’s been days without a reply.

I am just letting everyone know - that I re-added the BIN price, and domains reverted to listing normally, which is very strange. Does anyone know why they're flagged under review without a BIN price? I'd prefer to list some of my domains as make offer exclusive, but this seems to be a hurdle

No one knows exactly, and it's quite frustrating indeed. Afternic has indicated that they are not going to fix these Pending Review issues until next year, unfortunately.

That's annoying, considering the leverage you have with a buyer with make-offer domains. You'd think they could address this sooner with all their connections and GoDaddy's bottomless pockets.

I'm glad I'm not alone on this issue, sliver lining I guess 🙃

Hi @MrMDMF
Pending Review is Afternic’s system to keep active listings up-to-date. Status changes or adjustments can move a domain into this review process, and our support team is here to assist - typically within a day or two. Thanks for reaching out to them already!

As Future Sensors mentioned, we’re planning up for a revamp of the Pending Review system. The initial foundational work for this begins in the next week or two with backend infrastructure updates, and we’ll provide more details soon.

I contacted support about one of my domains in review--it had expired at Dynadot and I renewed so perhaps that was the cause? Though there were 40 others also in review. Support offered to help with any other domains that were there more than 48 hours.

I now see 204 domains in review status. Perhaps all domains pointed at sedo nameservers where you cannot see the txt records? ugh

@GoDaddy you still haven't fixed the issues. I just checked my Afternic account and I have almost 100 domains In Review. I never received any notifications of them being under review.

Hi @draco
It's likely the names in your account may require compliance review - a quick manual check that is triggered if our system detects a keyword or domain that needs approval before it's active. While we don't send email notifications for names under review, the review count is visible from your dashboard and your portfolio page.

Most of the domains have been listed on Afternic for awhile and are suddenly in review. How long does the review process actually take, and why aren't we notified?

PhoneCharger.com CuteBoy.com - care to explain what keyword triggered reviews for these domains?

I find that if you update the price that usually makes them live again. If not, then a quick email to support asking them to relist them usually gets resolved in a day or two.
