Hi, just launched a new site that will be aimed to give people free resources as well as styles for some good scripts that i like. So now i would like to announce that i have finally launched www.layoutworks.com and i would like some people to review it!

Well am nobody important or anything but my amature eye likes the choice of colours, it is pleasent to look at, I think with a fair bit more content it will be great.

Thanks gobbly2100, i haven't added all the content yet as i haven't had time.
Will be adding some content today probably though, hopefully i will have some time over.

Also i think this is the best site i have so far, dont think i have made any better sites for a long time now. Though going to start a forum as well that looks quite sweet.

i like the general layout of the site and the color scheme is excellent, however, i think it would look much better centred, the bar is nice at the top that fills the screen but the small content area needs to be centered imo

i also like the simplicty of the navigation but think it may look better with a css block effect on it so it fills the cell when hovered over

other than that, nice work

Thanks for your comments and suggestions ajkendall, but i wont be making a block effect for the menu anytime soon as i think it looks good as it is now

May i ask if you are swedish? As your name looks kind of swedish :p

The site needs more content, expand your homepage with some content into it, i like the ads placement it fits up perfectly. the template and the logo used looks good and goes with your site theme.

You have a calssy logo but on greeen ummm i think you get get better combinations

Your adsense is purfect for higer CTR but as i usually sugeest people i have personaly seen higher CTR when you use Half BAnner in which the url is not displayed in the ad and it looks lesser an ad and hence more click through.Also i would put the Adsense coloumn before the resources to get the ads more blended in

Yea put in some material

Also is it possible to get your framework centralised? since right now it is left aligned? It would better IMHO.

Well i thought it was a bit different to have it on a green bg, i like it acctually as it is not blending out to much

Might follow your suggestion on putting the ads above the resources, not sure yet though.
Hmm i already got people telling me i should centralize the content, but not going to
