How can I apply to this auction?

Thanks @TheBaldOne , I removed my question just incase. I received the one bid so far on one name...did you get any bids yet?

Not sure I am allowed to say under the interpretation of the rules regarding 'inappropriate advertising' (>:(). Let me just say I am happy enough :) , though I have competition for those I am bidding on. :(

OK I just posted a link to this thread in the main hacks thread, most likely we will get more interest if members can find this new thread.

This auction is of interest to me and if we have multiple members participating as sellers, the advertising is inadvertent. Since I am NOT a seller, if you want to send me the updated list by PM and I will post, if that is within the rules, I am happy to do so.

The undeveloped format is difficult to follow, I did sign up just to watch this event, at least it only took a day to get approved. I am disappointed there is no watchlist or favorites function. For now, I am saving my individual link favorites in my browser bookmarks, and that is clunky yet works.

I am certain we have had threads in the past about auctions where multiple members were involved in both selling and bidding.

Hi Guys,

Just a note regarding our auction platform. Auctions account for less than 5%, if not less, of our main business.

We developed our auction platform solely for the Domaining Europe Auction that we organized in 2016 and 2017. Since we aimed to only auction high-quality names like whiskey.com a lot of sellers requested us to prevent anyone from just viewing the auction and Google indexing bids and so on.

That's the reasoning behind the current platform design. Since we're going to stop hosting auctions in 2018 we're not that keen to further develop the platform.

We currently only use the auction platform for themed auctions like the Emoji Auction & Domain Hack Auction per seller requests.

The next and maybe the last auction will be a crypto domain oriented auction so feel free to submit names via our support channel or your account manager if you're interested to participate.

Take care,
Reza

That is a pity about stopping the auctions, but if it is based on sound business principles then there is no other course of action open for your company.

Oh, and thanks for taking the time to explain the reasoning behind the registration process. :)

At some point we did invest resources to organize monthly auctions with success. Just to drive sales for our sellers. We also saw competitors moving towards a model where the seller had to pay for auctioning domains, even if the names didn't sell. So we wanted to provide an alternative that would remain "free" and only commission based. But we noticed that auctions aren't per se going to have a significant enough impact for us and our sellers and that the field is pretty developed. Hence the decision to shift our focus to more high impact items.

We might open source the code to allow others to take over where we left it as the platform is intuitive, modern and attractive.

Take care,
Reza

Final 3 hours approaching...

Lots appeared to still be reserve not met at my last check which was around 2 hours left. Was not bidding or selling myself this time, just watching for curiosity.

Now that it has ended, would hope @TheBaldOne and @Pierre Barnard (and anyone else who may have been bidding or selling) can share - if you have to wait a few days until deals are final, that is understood.

@Undeveloped - Will the results be reported, like to NameBio or elsewhere, at least for the successful sales?

I haven't received any communication from @Undeveloped since the auction ended. Cannot see any of my names through the auction links either.
