Has anyone used escrow.com.

I got a buyer and he is telling me to deal through escrow.com

I read the FAQ's on escrow.com but if someone has some experience then It would be nice to hear from himself.

Thanks.

Great choice! I have never had any problems or regrets.

I don't have any experience but from what I know, it's much better than Paypal, especially if you don't know how good the buyer/seller is!
SO go with it!

I have used Escrow.com with my first sale. It was very professionaly handled and very easy to use. I received my check in the mail in ten days. Right now I'm in the process of using Sedo for a sale. I will wait an see how it goes, but there doesn't seem to be as much communication as I had with Escrow. One thing I don't like about Sedo escrow is the use of paypal. Sedo also costs so much more. If I had the choice I would use Escrow.com, but this can only be used if the offer does not come from Sedo. Best of luck on your sale!!

One more thing. Escrow gives the choice of who pays the escrow fee, the buyer or you. If the buyer wants to go through escrow.com, maybe you can ask him to pay the fee. You have to know who will pay the fee before you inter into the contract though.

It's a good service, although it took a bit longer than I imagined for the whole transaction to be done. One cool thing is that you can opt to pay the processing fees, have the buyer pay the fees, or split them evenly. Best of luck!
