I really like this domain. If I were a baker I'd be willing to pay. Get some cake and cookie recipes together and build this one up. An established site is worth a least a dozen wedding cakes. Good luck!

Thanks folks for your encouragment, Is there a way I can "borrow" articles or recipes (and photos) from other sites without plagerizing?

Also if I were to have a store section, without actually(physically) carrying product how could I do something where people could shop from (i.e amazon.com) and can I do such a thing and make $ ?

I also like the idea of a community site, income could be generated thru ad's-what other ways in a community site are the possibilities for profit?

Also please let me know if these questions should be asked in a different thread.

You want your content to be as original as possible, which may seem tricky with recipes but you should be able to gather ingredients and techniques that are in the public domain without somebody griping. State fairs are kicking off this time of year: as a launch pad for a sales or community site, show up with a camera and do your own reportage at the cake and pie contests. Maybe get a local baker to buy ad space? Easier said than done, I know... The domain is yummy, that's all I know.
