.de Any thoughts on .Com.De ??

Well I can see many good domains available for .Com.De..

https://www.eurodns.com is chepest I found.. but there is a problem (also in bulk search) -

Domains like cologne.com.de is available (showing) but it's not actually.. Anyway what is your take on .Com.De ?? Is there any notable sales for .com.de ??

It's a private subdomain, not a TLD. Stay away.

In my knowledge any domain-names with two level tld like .com.de are pretty much useless when you have so many of options like country based tld (.de or others) or gtlds (.net, .org and many others)

But you never know, your domain name with such extensions might work out but not without content.

.DE is possibly THE strongest ccTLD.

.COM is definitely THE strongest TLD.

So who would choose .COM.DE instead of those two?

I think this private subdomain is being marketed mainly to confuse people outside of Germany who are accustomed to other countries like Australia (.COM.AU) or Mexico (which has both .COM.MX and .MX).

Avoid it like the plague!

Its not a real domain extension, you are buying a sub-domain off of CentralNic.

Even the best keywords do not have much value. For eg. loans.com.de
