I can access the internet but my outlook express could not check incoming mails, I cannot load yahoo news. But yet I can access a few webpages like namepros :hehe: , whois.sc. Anyone know what are the possibility this is happening to my internet? I'm behind a wireless router of someone else's internet. I reformatted my whole computer today (Arghhh..) but the problem is still there. Anyone can help? Your help will be truly appreciated, thanks.

Maybe something's wrong with Yahoo? I can't load Yahoo.com for some reason
EDIT:Yahoo's working for me now.

Or your POP and SMTP addresses might be set wrong in Outlook.

That might be the problem. Perhaps the Windows firewall got enabled after you formatted and re-installed Windows (did you?).

if it had been running normally and then you face problems...most likely, the problem lies with your internet provider...it happened to me once

Well I think Flora is on the same provider as me, Bell Sympatico High-Speed. It's working okay for me, so it's probably a software/hardware issue...

Will it be my landlord using his router to block part of my access? But how will he be so specific...I wonder if it is sympatico's problem....
