You can't just withdraw a sale after you have transactions pending.

He just did:|

It's not that I'm withdrawing my transcation.

I was under the impression I had deleted this thread (obviously I didn't) and so I payed no further attention to this thread.

My apologies to anyone who made an offer, but I just messed up. Sorry.

First of all, I am NOT a moderator so please don't confuse my comments as such. I did bid on these threads. YoNames, you named this thread "Any of these $5 each." The original dialog from this thread has been edited and removed by you. There were, I believe, 4 domains listed. You asked if anyone was interested in these to post SOLD and the name of the domain...that you were looking to sell and transfer the domains on the same day. Member "buzzed media" took "CastIronCollectables.com" and posted SOLD as can be seen on the thread; I wanted "ExploreTenerife.com" (but you had this listed asking for an "offer" on your other thread, so I made comment on this one.) Technically, since mine was only an offer from the other thread it could be refused. I never did post SOLD here!! However, in all fairness, you should have already contacted "buzzed media" and sold the domain he wanted for $5. It does not appear that you have .That domain he wanted is still listed with you http://whois.domaintools.com/castironcollectables.com

Mitch007 your points are fair and justified.

I was talking to someone external about selling both these domains before either of you posted, but they requested that I remove my domains from any threads in any forums I use.

I thought I had done it, but obviously I didn't. That was my fault and I'm sorry to have caused all of this confusion.

My apologies to Mitch and Buzzed Media. This was entirely my fault and I apologise to you.

This will not happen again and I am sorry to have wasted your time.

I think Buzzed Media has a genuine complaint should he wish to follow up with the moderators.

I don't want to turn this into a big ordeal (especially being a new member), but I was disappointed when I received this PM from him yesterday:

"Sorry for the late reply.

This domain is no longer for sale, I'm currently talking to someone who wants to buy it for $100.

My apologies, but I thought I had editied this thread."

This wouldn't be so bad if he had actually sold these domains to somebody else, but as you can see CastIronCollectables.com is still for sale, as is ExploreTenerife.com in this thread, http://www.namepros.com/domains-for-sale-fixed-price/601811-explore-tenerife-com-25-a.html. I'm reporting this thread to the Mods.

Seriously you are coming across as a troublemaker. The OP did not seem to handle things as well as they could have. However in the end, the name belongs to them & whether you like it or not they can do what they want with it prior to money exchanging hands.

Lastly if you cared to read the link you posted, it clearly shows he posted almost 8 hours prior to you saying the name was no longer for sale.

I didn't say the domain is no longer for sale. The OP did. I think you should read the rules. Once a purchase is agreed. It's a binding contract. Buzzed Media has a binding contract to buy CastIronCollectables.com from YoNames for $5. He cannot just take it off the market and sell it elsewhere. 'Nuff said.

This is a forum, seriously no real judge is considering this a legitimate binding contract. Until money exchanges hand, it is still their property & can do what they like with it. End of story!

Firstly, I did not want to cause any trouble here, this was just one big mistake that has got way out of proportion.

I am currently talking to someone who wants to purchase CastIronCollectables.com from me for $100. I meant to take down this thread but just got it wrong. My fault.

Secondly, there is no binding contract here in these forums this just a forum not a court of law and I'm entitled to do as I wish with my domains. You're all telling me that this is the first time this has ever happened on namepros?

Thirdly, anyone who says they would turn down a $100 sale so that they can honour and old thread for $5 is a liar. I am trying to get maximum profit from my domain and I don't see why there is a problem with that.

Lastly, what is the problem? Nobody has lost any money, nobody has lost any of their domains, and if everyone wasn't kicking up such a fuss, nobody would have wasted any time either!

Will everyone stop digging up old threads!!!

Just because I posted a thread with those prices 3 WEEKS AGO it doesnt mean that they're still for sale.

If you want to start looking at old "for sale" threads, then there's a million problems to waiting to be sorted out.
