Any input on Adbrite?

Anyone use adbrite, how does it stack up compared to adsense in terms of payouts, and other options? I am fed up of seeing my PPC revenue diminishing, and getting 2-5 cent clicks, so I am taking the development route, one domain at a time. No other choice.

I disagree. I get a similar eCPM as Adsense on many of my lower bracket sites. If you have a high quality site then I suggest adsense but realize that Adbrite does pay CPM as well. So if you have high traffic such as a forums...Adbrite can get you some income. It's something you should experiment with. There is no law saying you can't go back to adsense if adbrite doesn't do well for you.

Personally I am scared to rely on a single source of income. Redundancy isn't just for hosting.

They are not as effective as Google adsense is. They don't have much advertisers to show on a page and the advertisers that are shown are not much relevant to the content of the page

This is true. I currently use adbrite, but have applied to adsense and would like to get accepted

Adsense is about 75% more effective than Adbrite IMO. Though it's a good alternative if you are banned from adsense or if you are not allowed to add their ads regarding the content of your site.
