im sure this probably gets some google searches but as a domain ,I cant see much value if you put this up on ebay you probably would only get to 9-15 bucks tops,if you had pcgaming. com then thats a whole new story. So ill say wholesale 15-65 and retail end user 300-400 tops

You bought this on a hand registration if it was worth anything it would not even get to that point ,not to say things dont slip by.I remember this on the list ,I dident even stop and give it a second thought. You would have to have a 150 similar domains to get an initial 10 offer for one of them. You would than counteroffer at 1000 and they would stop at the most 300 which you probably would accept thinking you just made a killing ,but it cost you 1400 to register the others. See look at the big picture,Id rather buy a 300 high priced dropping auction than a bunch of these. When you are in an auction you know the price is justified because thats how it got to that level, you know there is at least a few buyers to take it off your hands a few bucks lower, for the possibility of hundreds of future domainers and end users wanting it 10-20 times higher .So 15 letter 3 word drops are not the thing people are gonna come calling for.
I am here to help Thats why im taking my time here. This is not just only about this name I am doing this about future domains you and other people here will buy. I hope you get it now. Good Luck Ben

I used to reg names like this but now do not. I see little demand for such a name, even though the real things exist.

I agree. These niche tech product names aren't as good as you might think. That's because a big electronics company doesn't need the name to sell PC Gaming Headsets, they just use their own brand domain. It's also now hard to outrank these guys on Google for niche product terms now the exact match domain bonus is turned down, so where's the advantage in the domain?

thanks.... well i think its good petentionl because keyword gets 20 k searches a month and if site is developed about products related to keyword then domain becomes strong in search ranking for related product... just need to push it with right concept and then even big brands will be interested in domain.. but thats just what i think.. will see what will happen.. 12 dollars invested i can afford.. :)

I think it has potential but again only if you find the right buyer. I used to work for a drop shipping business and I can see somebody being interested in this domain if they're trying to get into the business :) I would think something around the lower $xxx for the right end user that has a project in mind. For $12 I would let it sit and see what kind of offer you may get

gamingheadsets.com sold for $510 at the height of the financial down turn. PC business is in the dumps. And would 'system' gamers want to buy headsets from a PC domain brand. Feels the PC weighs it down a lot. Needs development or traffic. Good Luck

I think the potential for a site is there, i.e. people will be interested in a site that gives good PC gaming headset reviews. So, there is potential for traffic and sales. However, this is going to involve you doing the hard work to see the return. Just selling the domain on its potential alone will be more difficult.

I have owned this domain in the past.

These kinds of long-tail exact-match domains were popular, and making money, in the height of the minisite boom of around 2006 - 2008. Then came the economy crash; ad providers (mostly through Adsense and parking ad services) suddenly had a lot less money; they cancelled many keyword matches and only kept the best, they lowered the $ ceilings of their price per click and their overall budget, and also many companies went bust so there were fewer ad providers. In addition, around then Google changed their search algorithms to start ignoring minisites that had very little and poor content, plus lots of ads.

So although a small percentage of parked domains and vaguely-developed minisites squeaked by and still saw profit, the vast majority of minisites and parking income bombed straight down. People were making 50%, then 25%, then 10%, then 5%, then even less, than they were previously making from the same minisites and parked pages.

"pc gaming headset" receives around 3600 searches each month on Google, in the U.S. Add a few more searches around the world. But I have personally let domains drop that had ten times that search number. Because it's now so difficult and so much work to build a website around the term, optimize it well, and actually make income from it that makes all the work worth it. For the same reason, you'll probably never be able to sell this one.

Your domain was first registered in Sept of 2007, which was during the height of the minisite boom. Obviously it didn't make much income from being parked, so it dropped a year later. I then registered it myself in 2009 and built a minisite. Couldn't get it to pay, since ad revenue and minisites were by then tanking. Gave the site and domain over to my domaining partner at that time. She couldn't make it pay. She sold it. The new owner couldn't make it pay. They kept it parked or with minor development until June of 2015 and then dropped it.

Now you have it.
Sorry, have to say zero value, unless you put a lot of work into it, plus some magic that none of us could conjure up :)

The keywords are good, headsets are IN but the domain is 15 chars long, contains a 2 char abbreviation plus two words.

Undeveloped I cant see it reaching much at auction but enduser a couple of ton.

If you still think your domain has potential, and is worth anything about 28 cents
After reading what Bannen posted?
You are on the wrong drugs or drinking the wrong wine.
