Any got ways to promote for free?

Hello Everyone,

Ive just opened a new site, www.HelpThreads.com. It is an iPod help forums/threads.
Though I don't even no were to begin on promoting it. Any ideas? Does anyone know a good site that lets you submit it to alot of differnet search engines.

Hope you's can help as I would really like to try and get my site promoted and let people know more about.

Advertise the site in forums (like review, advertise sections, dont spam... If the forums dont have those sections, add the site to your url). Change the link color to make it stand out more (put the color code inside the link, like

[.url=www.somesite.com.][.font color code thing here]SiteName[./font][./url]

Also add your site to directories, nice list of them here: http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/free-web-directories.html (i use that site for all my sites)

Trade links with other sites with traffic or pr.

Submit your site to search engines.

no need to submit a site to any search engines. They'll fid your site by following links. All you need is to get links. There're hundreds of free directories to submit to.

post in related forums will get you some traffic.
