Just noticed, and confused the hell out of myself, that when I tried to update a thread that I had posted, it added it to the main post. Did it three times before I realised what was going on!
Unless I've just never noticed it before?

As far as I know it's been installed for a long time. If you wait like 24 hours after the original post you can make a new post under the first one. If you do it sooner it will just keep editing your original post.
It's been in place for awhile now, it's not something new that was just implemented. If you need to update a thread just posted, then you should be editing the original post anyways instead of posting a reply and bumping it up.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great system and 24 hours is perfect. I hate constant 'bumps'. On this occasion I was updating my thread with valid information that I thought deserved a bump, so that's what confused me!
