I have the same difficulty trying to figure out PPC rates @ SEDO.
I had one name that initially started @ about $1.00/ click, and before months end, it was down to 0.50. The following wonth it worked down to $ 0.13-0.14 before levelling out at 0.10, the level it remained at. What changed? Dunno.
Also, I have one name, (a 3LL.biz that stands for a Eastern Europeon auto/machine mnfr) that receives around 200 visits/ mo, gets 30-40 clicks, but only pays 0.03, roughly $1.00/mo. Listing w/ PPC directories are sort of like going to the check out counter at the market, w/ a blindfold on. :o :cy:

Depending visitors area, advertisers, keywords, date, etc. the cost by click is not the same...

I realize this, but I don't understand how there can be a 50%+ drop off within a month. Why on one day the click=$1.00 and 10 days later= $0.50. I didn't think that advertising bid amts or %'s fluctuated to that extent.
I see where different advertisers would pay diff amts on the same directory page, but what happenned to the $1.00 payouts, once the $0.10 plateau is reached?

Between 10 days, things can change. Advertiser paying $1 can stop his campaign. Or maybe he reach his maximum limit for a day or a month. Maybe he's dead... Only God.. oh sorry.. only Google knows what happens.

Beware - I'm no expert but I noticed that parked pages that were masked in the url didnt show up for clicks at sedo. Then I directed them without masking them and then clicks showed up. (by masking I mean that it would look like that domains own real page in the address bar even though its hosted and have sedo content) So I changed my few sedo parked pages to be unmasked. maybe someone can confirm this theory.

At the beginning of the month you have a very low number of clicks (compare to the whole month) and therefore the average can suffer big variations before it finished. What it would be odd is if that this change happened at the end of the months (for domains with a number of clicks big enough). I have a domain that have had just one click at the beginning of the month of $2, as the month went by and more clicks in advertisers with lower revenue were made, my average dropped to less than one quarter of that.

God, Google, and/or Sedo, (and other PPC managers).

I don't know if this holds for PPC in general but for Google stuff I can tell when my revenue will increase by watching the ads being shown. There are large auction companies which will run campaigns for a few weeks before a sale. For a short period of time they will drive the bids for specific keywords way up. After the sale they are out and keyword rates drop dramatically.

I would think that happens in other areas except for those really prime top keywords.
