What are the reg fees on premium .cc anyways? If USA.cc was a name with the normal .cc reg fees, I wouldn't exactly call that a good .cc sale. 2 years ago, I would have thought a name like that would sell for upwards of $10k by now. The .cc market is a lot worse then I expected it to be right now, though it looks like the amount of sales in the extension are finally rising somewhat. The prices aren't really, lol.

Wait a minute...I'm getting confused. Are people calling it a premium name meaning that it's just very good, or is it premium as in eNic.cc withholds the name and a higher reg fee needs to be paid to register it? I thought it was the latter, seeing as Verisign does that for .tv names. I could swear they were doing it for some .cc's, but I'm guessing I'm wrong?

Ah, okay. And that poster was me by the way. It's true, the values of .cc names are mostly staying put. There's been no sale indicating a rise in value IMO. I think Loan.cc was another recent one that sold for about $1000, and there again, 2 years ago I would have expected a top real-estate word .cc to sell for at least mid to high $x,xxx.

Yeah me too.i started with .cc names. When i started there were many wonderful keywords on .cc. Guess what? i reg them all and lost thousands after a year when i let them all drop.

.cc not going anywhere. There are too many extensions now and the ONLY extension that is profiting from this swarm of ccTLDs is .com. YEAH! i'm not joking.
People are buying up all cctlds while the .com itself is on parking page. This brings up the value of .com & .info (if i could add another one)

It wasn't that long ago you could get a 2 character cc for reg fee.

I'm not seeing a pile of CC tld sites popping up on the web, so I think the only interest in these names is by us domainers, really. The potential end users have no clue about cc, so the value is low.

I Like CC, (bought my 3rd CC today, 4th CC purchase in progress :D ) but IMHO the value is pennies vs. the dot com dollars - the usa.cc price is no surprise.
