There is a post on another forum that I rarely visit anymore. Someone has a domain for sale $128.15 Revenue per month on the average and his asking price is "Looking for mid to high 5 figures. Nothing less." So I reply "Mid XX,XXX like $50,000? is 390 times monthly revenue? I'm kinda slow so just
want to double check. Thanks" And a moderator there "awarded" me 15 points , halfway toward a one week suspension for ad trashing. His comment to me was "There is nothing wrong with asking for clarification, but "390 times monthly revenue" is considered to be ad trashing. Huh? I'm not going to mention any names but the forum has the initials wht and the moderator can put his 15 points where the sun don't shine :imho:

I know that forum, the mods there are a bunch of kiddies that love busting people :p

Actually it's usually the kiddies that are getting busted on that forum.
They may have on or two mods that don't act their age but they are certainly not a bunch of kiddies.

Yes I think that is accurate. The other place wil be moderating themselves if they don't lighten up a bit. I also got a POC there because I had the nerve to point out someone was advertising a domain name as a PR5 when in fact the PR was fake. I got this "The Advertising Forums are not a place for you to critique one's ad. If you feel something about another user's post is not right, please report it to the mods instead. Thanks." I wasnt critiquing anything, just trying to keep noobs from getting taken

Not only are the mods and admins not to good there, nor are the members... I just got scammed there this week.

Like what has been said above, NamePros is the best forum for domains and web services.
