Hey so I am the owner of angrytruths.com, along with uncharging.com and onlyonewinning.com, and I have a question. If somebody were to make a game named angry truths would the creator of angry birds, rovio, be able to sue them for creating that game because of the word angry in it? Thanks any help would be appreciated.

The basic essence of many of these lawsuits, is the claim that the "product" will confuse the consumer to the point that instead of buying "Angry Birds", he bought "Angry Truths" instead.

Your defense is to prove that it is impossible for anyone to confuse the two. So perhaps, it's more than just the word "angry" in it.

You can read a similar lawsuit here, with regards to "confusing" names:

Hasbro lost its case here. The judge claimed it is impossible for people to mistake a laptop computer called "Transformer Prime", as the "Optimus Prime" of the Transformers robots.

But anyway, i was just thinking, if "Angry Birds" never became popular, would anyone really make a video game and call it "Angry Truths" ?!?

Well considering someone came up with Angry Birds someone could have created a game called Angry Truths because you really don't know for a fact that no one would have not created it. Thanks for the info great read on the law suit interesting stuff.
